1. Tiring

The above pictures reflect how tired I am after spending most of my break taking care of baby. Wish I could sleep so peacefully like one of them!

2. SOlution :"AVATAR"

The best painkiller my husband prescribed to me was the movie called "AVATAR". We went to times Square for the movie. It 's a cool Computer generated imaginery and sure good WOW IMAX place to park myself for almost 3 hours. I LOVE the movie and the shopping I did with Taibi and Hubby. Awesome day!

I have a drinking problem!

This drinking problem has caused the kid to have lost his father. Understanding men and women is never an easy task. So, don't
  1. Take our partners for granted,
  2. Mind read, or use silence as a weapon
  3. Blame, and don't say yes when mean no.

Love our planet!

Yesterday was Brian 's wedding day. I visited him at his home and captured a few shots of this auspicious moment of his lifetime. Congrats, Bro!

His apartment was a cozy one. Its walls were all painted earth and white. On a table, there were many tiny paper boxes place on it. Those boxes were all filled with folded papers from the "Pizza" and "Mc Donald" ( to name a few) brochures. When asked what were those for, Brian shared that those were all folded by his wife for putting in paper clips, staples, and unwanted stuff after meals like fish bones! :) That seemed to be the easiest and simplest thing they could do to save the trees.

Impressed and Inspired by his brilliant idea as well as the most recent mental impact on me after the latest "2012"movie, I just found out that for every ton of paper that is recycled , 17 trees live. So, before throwing that piece of paper in the trash, imagine how many trees you could save by starting a simple action. For me, I don't know if I could be such super heroin saving the world, but I can start with learning how to fold 1 piece of that unwanted paper for other purposes before throwing it into the bin straight away.
A few fast facts I read from Readers' Digest:
a. Food waste makes up 45% of Malaysia 's total waste.
b. 12 million barrels of oil are used to make 88.5 billion plastic bags consumed in the US p.a.
c. The Phillipines generates more than 20,000 tonnes of garbage daily, enough to fill 7 big
landfills a year!

Love

Love is when you look into someones eyes and see their heart.

Yesterday was 24th November. It was my grandfather's birthday. I took the opportunity to get him a gift. After much thoughts and a few rounds of fruitless shopping, I finally decided to just buy him a fruity birthday cake with my youngest sister. Since my youngest sibling's birthday is also around the corner, I bought an extra cake to celebrate with her.

I looked at my grandfather's face. His hair used to be darker. His eyes used to be bigger. His lips used to be more well defined, his hearing and sight used to be much better . I imagined 60 years from now, I would also be like him. We all go through the same life cycle. I suddenly remembered the video my sisters did for my wedding which says this :
"Love does not make the world go round; Love is what makes the ride worthwhile."

That night I had a good chat with my mum and sister. My mum looked tired. She is the best person whom I would share my life stories with. Eventhough at times, she could raise her voice unneccesarily when talking to her daughters, deep inside my heart, I always remember how much blood she lost giving birth to her 6 daughters and the unexpected surgery due to accident. She came from a broken home without parental love, husband's love and formal education ( When we are studying in primary schools , my mother was working in a chicken farm collecting eggs for her grandfather to sell); yet she was so determined to bring up and educate all of us to become a better person today. Now that I am a mother myself, I truly understand those sleepless nights she went through for all her kids, not easy at all.
I almost forgot how my fifth sister looked like until I saw her the next day. It had been a while we had not had any heart to heart talk. She has been very busy with her job and assignments.
Let us all make our rides worthwhile by showering each other with more LOVE...
Love the life we live, and Live the life we love!

Memorable experience

Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. ~From the television show The Wonder Years.

It is going to be my last day at school tomorrow. I was given an opportunity to say a few words in front of all the teachers before proceeding to the round table with various very scrumptious food on it. I thanked all my friends for the memorable experience and moments in my life as an educator.

I could still remember vividly the very first day at school. That time, i was still wearing my Pregnant blouse. I was welcomed and ushered by Mrs Tan to my seat beside Mrs Su, later changed seat, in between Mr Su and Mrs Subra. Then, Ms Tee provided me with many books. Mrs Sally provided me with a pocket file with a listing of my form students. In the hall, I met Mr Kenny, who shared with me his past profession. After assembly, I was suppose to lead my class students into the classroom, 1 Beta. That time, there were only 19 students in my class.

Eleven months passed by at a lightning speed and it is hard to bid farewell to all my friends. I would like to thank you all here.
To :

Dr Shih : Thanks for giving me the opportunity to become an educator, a profession of which I will never regret joining. But the only thing i regret was not being able to complete the school song for the school.

Mrs Tan : Thanks for being so understanding and patient in dealing with me and the balls problems created by my class students!

My love for you is stronger

"A baby is a blank cheque made payable to the human race." ~ Barbara Christine Seifert quote

I could still remember very intimately the first ever cry my daughter made when she was welcomed to the world. Time flies. We are going to celebrate her 1st birthday in a 10 days time. Around the same time last year, she was still in my super huge belly.
Just 3 days ago, my baby was having high fever. I did not realise my love for her has grown so strongly until that moment. It was mid night around 3am when her body temperature shoot up to about 39 degree celcius!
